Edge Rewards Founding Members: What You Get and How to Join

Founding members get into Edge Rewards on Sunday 1 November 2026, six days before everyone else, and joining the waitlist is free.

TL;DR

  • Everyone on the Edge waitlist is a founding member, and founding members get into Edge Rewards on Sunday 1 November 2026.
  • That is six days before everyone else, who can join from Saturday 7 November 2026. Edge Rewards is not live yet.
  • Founding members also get a founding-member badge that stays on your profile, and first pick of the launch rewards.
  • Joining takes your first name and email. You get your own waitlist link, and every friend who joins through it moves you further up the queue.
  • Earning and redeeming points is free for every member. Edge Pro is optional and earns faster.

To join the waitlist, earn points and redeem rewards

An Edge Rewards founding member is anyone on the Edge waitlist, and founding members get into Edge Rewards on Sunday 1 November 2026, six days before the public launch on Saturday 7 November. You also get a founding-member badge that stays on your profile and first pick of the launch rewards, and it costs nothing to join.

Edge Rewards is our own free rewards programme, and it is not live yet. When it launches, the training you already do will earn points you can spend on real products from partner brands. The idea is simple: get rewarded for moving. This guide covers exactly what founding members get, why the head start is worth having, and how to get on the list today.

What is an Edge Rewards founding member?

A founding member is someone who joined the Edge waitlist before Edge Rewards opened its doors. There is no application, no fitness test and no fee. If your name is on the list, you are a founding member, whether you are training for a marathon or have just started walking to work.

The waitlist lets us open Edge Rewards in two stages. Founding members go first, on Sunday 1 November 2026. Everyone else can join from Saturday 7 November 2026. Those six days are your head start, and they are the main reason to join now rather than wait for the public launch.

What do founding members get?

Three things, and we want to be clear about each one.

  • Early access on 1 November. You are first through the door, six days before the public launch, and you can start earning points from the day you get in.
  • A founding-member badge. It sits on your Edge profile and it stays there, a small sign that you were here from the very start.
  • First pick of the launch rewards. Founding members see the rewards marketplace first, so you get the first choice of what is on offer at launch.

Here is how founding membership compares with joining at the public launch.

Why does a six-day head start matter?

Six days might not sound like much, but it counts in two ways.

Points. On the free plan you can earn up to 50 points a day, so six days at the daily cap is up to 300 points before the public launch. As a rough guide, about a week of training earns a free coffee, so a founding member who trains steadily could have a first reward in sight by the time everyone else arrives.

Timing. Points reset to zero at the end of each calendar month. Getting in on 1 November means your first month is a full month of earning, rather than one that starts a week late. Rewards are gifted by partner brands, and some may be limited, which is where first pick of the launch rewards really helps.

How do you join the Edge waitlist?

It takes less than a minute, and there are only three steps.

  • Go to the waitlist page. You will find it at findyouredge.app/waitlist.
  • Add your first name and email. That is all we ask for.
  • You are in. You join the queue as a founding member and get your own waitlist link to share.

After that, keep an eye on your inbox. Waitlist members hear from us about the November launch, and you can unsubscribe at any time. In the meantime, you train exactly as you normally would.

Does sharing your waitlist link help?

Yes. When you join, you get your own waitlist link. Every friend who joins through it moves you further up the queue. That is the whole mechanic, and it is as simple as it sounds.

It works best with people who would genuinely enjoy it: the friend you run with on a Saturday, your training partner at the gym, or the group chat from your HIIT class. Training is easier with company, and it is more fun when your friends are earning alongside you.

How will earning points work once you are in?

Edge Rewards turns the training you already log into points. Here is the short version.

  • 1 point for every minute of any logged workout, up to 50 a day.
  • 2.5 points for every 1,000 steps, up to 25 a day.
  • A combined cap of 50 points a day on the free plan, with no roll-over from one day to the next.
  • Any logged workout counts, including sessions you add by hand and imports from Strava, Apple Health, Garmin and Coros.
  • Points reset to zero at the end of each calendar month, so everyone starts each month level.

You spend points in an in-app marketplace on real products from partner brands, a mix of free items and discounts. Think categories like coffee and drinks, gels, snacks and bars, protein and supplements, and apparel and gear. Those are examples, not a fixed list, and the full line-up is revealed at launch. For the full walk-through, read Edge Rewards explained.

Is it free, and do you need Edge Pro?

Edge Rewards is free to join, free to earn and free to redeem, for every member. Becoming a founding member is free too, and you do not need Edge Pro to take part. We go through the detail in is Edge Rewards really free?

Edge Pro is our optional premium subscription, from £19.99 a month with a free 7-day trial. It gives you a fully personalised plan across running, strength, HIIT and mobility, ready within 24 hours, plus a real coach you can message anytime. On the rewards side, Pro members earn faster with Double XP, have no daily cap, and get exclusive prizes and secret offers. It is a nice extra, not a requirement.

What should you do before 1 November?

A few small steps now mean you are ready to earn from day one.

  • Join the waitlist and share your link with friends who train.
  • Get the free Edge app on iOS or Android, so it is on your phone when the doors open.
  • Connect the apps you already use. Edge syncs with Strava, Garmin, Apple Health and Coros, so the sessions you track there can count too.
  • Build a steady rhythm. The daily cap rewards showing up most days rather than one huge session, so a regular habit is the best preparation.

Edge Rewards is not live yet, so points start once you are in. Training well in October is still worth it, though, because a habit you have already built is far easier to keep once the points start adding up. For the full launch timeline, see when does Edge Rewards launch?

What else do people ask about founding membership?

Is Edge Rewards live yet?

Not yet. Founding-member early access opens on Sunday 1 November 2026, and everyone else can join from Saturday 7 November 2026.

Does it cost anything to be a founding member?

No. Joining the waitlist is free, and earning and redeeming points is free for every member.

Do I need Edge Pro to be a founding member?

No. Founding-member access is for everyone on the waitlist. Edge Pro is optional, and it earns faster with Double XP and no daily cap.

Does the founding-member badge go away?

No. It stays on your profile.

What if I miss 1 November?

You can still take part. Everyone can join Edge Rewards from Saturday 7 November 2026. You just miss the six-day head start.

Do workouts from my watch count?

Yes. Workouts imported from Strava, Apple Health, Garmin and Coros count, and so do sessions you add by hand.
