This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations and refunds work when you use Edge Hybrid Ltd (“Edge”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Depending on how you signed up, your subscription is billed through:
Apple App Store (iOS)Google Play Store (Android)Edge Web Portal via RevenueCat + Stripe
The refund rules differ for each, and by law we must follow the rules of the platform you used.
1. Subscription Billing
If you subscribed through Apple (iOS)
Apple processes your payment and manages your subscription.Edge does not store or process your card details.
If you subscribed through Google Play (Android)
Google processes your payment and manages your subscription.
If you subscribed through the Edge Web Portal (Stripe)
You may have subscribed via our web onboarding portal, which uses:
- RevenueCat to manage entitlements, and
- Stripe to handle billing and payments.
In this case:
- Stripe charges your card directly
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through Stripe’s customer portal
- Edge can assist with account issues but cannot see full payment details
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
A. Apple (iOS)
Open Settings
Tap your name
Tap Subscriptions
Select Edge Hybrid
Tap Cancel Subscription
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
B. Google Play (Android)
Open the Google Play Store
Tap your profile icon
Go to Payments & Subscriptions
Choose Subscriptions
Select Edge Hybrid
Tap Cancel Subscription
C. Web Portal (Stripe via RevenueCat)
If you subscribed through the web:
You will have been sent a Stripe billing portal link
This link allows you to:
- view invoices
- update card details
- change plan
- cancel your subscription
If you need your portal link resent, contact us through the app or website.
Cancelling through Stripe stops future renewals but does not refund past charges.
3. Refunds
A. Apple Refunds
Apple controls all refunds for iOS purchases. Request a refund at: https://reportaproblem.apple.com
Edge cannot approve or decline Apple refunds.
B. Google Play Refunds
Google controls all refunds for Android purchases.Request a refund at: https://support.google.com/googleplay/workflow/9813244
Edge cannot approve or decline Google refunds.
C. Web Portal Refunds (Stripe)
Stripe handles billing, but refund decisions are made by Edge for web purchases only.
Refunds may be granted if:
- there was a duplicate purchase
- you were charged after cancelling
- there was a technical issue that prevented app use
Refunds cannot be issued when:
- you forgot to cancel
- you changed your mind mid-cycle
- you didn’t use the app during a billing period
Refunds must be requested within 14 days of the charge. To request a refund, contact support through the app or website with your name and payment email.
4. Trials
If you start a free trial:
- you won’t be charged until the trial ends
- cancel before the trial ends to avoid payment
- each user may redeem one trial only
If cancelled, access remains until the trial expiry.
5. What Happens After Cancellation
After cancelling (on any platform):
- you keep full access until the end of the current billing period
- you won’t be charged again
- your training data and progress remain available
- your plan reactivates instantly if you re-subscribe
If you delete your Edge account entirely, your data will be erased following our Privacy Policy.
6. Technical Issues
If you experience a technical issue preventing use:
- contact support through the app or website
- we will help troubleshoot promptly
If you subscribed via Apple or Google, you must request refunds through those platforms.If you subscribed via Stripe, Edge may issue a refund if appropriate.
